Only such Data as is necessary to provide you with services relating directly to the renting of the cottage is collected.

If you make an enquiry about the cottage, only your name and contact details will be collected.  This includes your email address and contact telephone number, and your postal address if you provide this.

If you make a booking, only Data necessary to confirm the details of your booking and in arranging your stay at the cottage will be collected.

WHY DATA IS COLLECTED

Data is collected from you so that a response can be made to a request from you for information, so that a booking request from you can be completed and, following your stay at the cottage, to seek your feedback.

YOUR DATA RIGHTS

You have the right to request details of the personal Data held about you.   You can do this using the Enquiries section on the website and, in response, a full list of all Data held about you will be provided.

You have the right at any time to withdraw your consent for your Data to be held. Upon receipt of your instruction your Data will be deleted immediately or, if the contract for the renting of the cottage has not yet been satisfied, immediately after it has been satisfied.

You have the right to lodge a complaint regarding our collection, retention or use of your Data with the UK Information Commissioners Office (ICO).

RETENTION OF YOUR DATA

Your Data will only be retained for the purpose of satisfying the contract for the renting of the cottage and thereafter to seek your feedback and to respond to any contact from you.  Your Data will be retained for this purpose for a maximum of 24 months.

SECURITY

To ensure that your Data is secure and in order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, suitable physical and electronic safeguards have been put in place.

YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS OF THIS POLICY

By using the website, you signify your agreement to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Policy, please do not use the website. From time to time this Privacy Policy may be updated in line with website changes that may affect the personal information collected about you. If you continue to use the site and its services it is assumed that you accept such changes.
